Marc Jacobs Just Dropped an MTV Collab

Sunday, August 29 marks this year's MTV Video Music Awards and needless to say, it's going to have it's fair share of fashion moments (yes, there will be a tribute to Rihanna, and yes, we can't wait to see what she will wear).  Marc Jacobs is celebrating the annual entertainment event with an MTV-themed capsule collection that drops today, inspired by pieces from the brand's Resort 2017 collection, including sweatshirts, t-shirts, and knits.

Marc Jacobs will also hold an Instagram booth on the red carpet, complete with celebrity video portraits by Dennis Leupold.  You too can have your MTV moment (from home) by pre-ordering the collection now through August 30 at marcjacobs.com and in select stores.  We have our eyes on the black knit with the pink leopard printed logo, but the whole collaboration is right on beat with the 80s mania that has come back this season.  Click below to browse the entire collection.

I founded Couturesque Magazine when I was 15 years old because like many of my peers, I felt ignored and talked down to by all of the other teen fashion publications out there. I figured that at the end of the day, the people who knew the most about my generation, were the people who belonged to it.
