We are the future of
the fashion industry.
Couturesque is the website for critical-thinking creatives. We cover where fashion, beauty, and culture meet the human condition and the zeitgeist of not only today, but tomorrow.
We raise the bar in fashion media by viewing style through a unique, intelligent, interdisciplinary lens. Couturesque celebrates subverting the status quo, seeing what isn’t obvious, and writing your own rules.
Founded in 2014 by Tia Elisabeth Glista, Couturesque has always been run by and for young innovators. Over our six years, our staff has been made up of dedicated students and artists committed to thinking differently about style and what it means today.
MEET THE FAMILY:
WHERE ARE THEY NOW

Tia Elisabeth Glista, Founder/fmr. Editor in Chief, 5 years
After parting ways with Couturesque at the end of 2018, Tia graduated with her BA at NYU, enrolled in graduate school, and contributed to writing criticism and non-fiction about feminism in the arts for magazines like Dazed, Document Journal, PAPER, Office, and Electric Literature. In particular, she is interested in cinema, art, and literature, and the relationship between representation, embodiment, and violence. Though she no longer works in fashion, she still loves creating outfits and expressing herself sartorially with a collection of boots, prairie dresses, and suits that is ever-growing. Couturesue also gave Tia a foothold for beginning to produce experimental film and video projects, which she has continued to do by documenting everything from modern dance to interviewing friends and peers about their everyday experiences of gender and feminism and making fun Super 8 shorts on the beach.

Autumn Breeze, Editor In Chief, 5 years

She graduated with her Associates in the Arts in English in 2016. Then in 2018, she transitioned into the world of trend forecasting and interior design. Her work is fuelled by an intense interest for fashion, beauty, music, the arts, and modern culture and their impact and intersections with representation, politics, and social commentary. Her interests also expand into the areas of fashion, beauty, and film history, creative writing, and fiction storytelling.
