Stacey Hendrickson (@staceyhendrickson) is one of those incredible people who does it all. And by 'it all', we mean running a business, designing dreamy clothes, directing shoots, and managing a modelling agency. Stuff that every other 23 year-old is doing, right? We caught up with the inspiring Australian #girlboss to ask her 10 essential questions. What do you do and how did you get started? I own the brand casper+pearl and AZALEA Models in Adelaide. I created the brand in 2011 at the fashion markets and its grown quite a lot since then; we've been stocked at The Iconic, Peppermayo, Urban Outfitters, and NastyGal. My mum and I started AZALEA in 2013 because I was finding quite a lot of girls and had nowhere to really send them, however I was using them for the brand. We have girls signed with IMG Worldwide, Vivien's Models, and London Management. What are you currently working on?

Always working on something! Right now I’m designing prints for September/October for casper+pearl, and setting up test shoots for some of our new faces! How do you stay motivated? The thought of success. What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? Check Instagram.

What store do you never leave without buying at least one thing?

I'm a sucker for Opshops, and Azalia Boutique

Go-to outfit?

White Converse, grey oversized tee, leather shorts, and a backpack.

Trend that never dies?

Anything 90s.

Where do you see the fashion industry headed in 10 years?

I have absolutely no idea... the world and technology is moving so quickly!

Proudest moment?

Showing at MBFWA in Sydney last year in the New Gen show. What advice would you give to your 17 year old self? Do exactly what you're dreaming of doing and don’t listen to the people telling you that you shouldn’t.
