Unlike other designers, Jonathan Anderson isn't about putting collections in a box. In fact, instead of giving it an overarching, collective theme, Anderson chose to let each look speak for itself this season, citing completeness and individualism as topics that he mused on. The result was a Fall/Winter 2017 collection that felt very well curated, with nothing out of place or unintentional, from the tasseled handbags in suede, to the thigh-high boots, side ponytails, elaborate ear cuffs, and unexpected cuts (leather jacket meets the shrug, anybody?) At a young age, J.W.Anderson is already a household name and with this newest show of originality and spirit, it's no wonder why.
