WHY LAURA HARRIER IS THE FASHION INDUSTRY'S NEXT MUSE

At 27, Laura is already a successful model and favourite face of such brands as Bulgari, Dior Makeup, Kenzo, and Aerie. She's also the recent star of Spiderman: Homecoming, and if there's anything fashion loves, it's a model-turned-actress. But Laura is also a passionate spokesperson for issues like #BlackLivesMatter and feminism, making her a well-rounded interesting person too and capturing what it means to be a muse - she's more than just a pretty (scratch that - beautiful) face.

She's wicked smart. Before modelling, Laura was all set to study at New York University's prestigious Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She is a self-professed nerd and told The Cut that she has read the Harry Potter books "12 times and I’d be in Ravenclaw because they’re the smart ones."

Speaking of The Cut...

Laura did a great interview with the magazine earlier this summer in which she discussed growing up biracial and what the #BlackLivesMatter means to her. She also flexed in Calvin Klein and Céline (*heart eye emojis.*)

She went to the CFDA Awards with Rosie Assoulin

Two cool girls working the blue carpet at the Oscars of American fashion.

Creativity Rules

She also loves ceramics and hung out a studio in Brooklyn with W earlier in the summer.

Muse Material

Like any of fashion's most beloved it-girls (think Alexa Chung, Hari Nef, Adwoa Aboah), Laura has a strong sense of self, expressed through unique, confident personal style and a passionate point of view. It's easy for models to get lost in the fold, but Laura is unquestionably an individual, and one worth watching at that.
